Won!Sweden Game Conference is a very special event for us for many reasons. One reason is that Laura has been involved in organising it since its beginnings and still does. Another is the Conference's theme, which was right up our alley this year: Games and Politics. So SGC invited fantastic speakers from all over the world to talk about this subject, and we are proud to say that both Anna and Laura had very well received lectures, panels and workshops. We also had ample time to discuss our craft with people like Telltale's Emily Buck, Colin McComb of Planescape, Wasteland, AD&D and Torment fame, Martin Kvalle who is the sound designer for games such as Among the Sleep, Gonner, Hidden Folks, Genital Jousting and many more, Petter Henriksoon and the entire Landfall team, best known for TABS, Stick Fight and Clustertruck, the Coffee Stain people who did Goat Sim, and many many more. We are fortunate for having such talented, helpful and kind friends! If you are curious about the talks at SGC 2018, they were all recorded and will soon be made available online.We also won our very first prize! Pendula Swing won the Nordic Game Discovery Contest qualifier at SGC!!! This means that we get to go and showcase Pendula Swing next year at Nordic Game Conference, in Malmö!
