This seems to be a problem with the new ALP-46 as well. As a former EL towerman I was also disapointed in the detail of the Hoboken Terminal and the waterfront. Missing lots of features such as the old West End tower at the tunnel outlets, Relay huts and electric hardware at Grove Street X-overs, Large Train timtable display in terminal, Path entrances and ferry slips etc. All the things that make it look like its been there for years instead of built yesterday.. The route is very nice and has a lot of detailed scenery and stations. Both the ALP-45DP and the Comet V Cab Car shot on this add on. I have some issues that I would like to report. While I brake on the Comet V Cab car that it wheelslips espically while stopping at stations. Not only the wheelslip on the cab car but its alerter doesn't make any noise so it's hard to hear on when you have acknowedge it. You could also see the outside while comming into the tunnels from NY Penn which gets into my OCD. I would recommend this DLC with the F40PH-2CAT bundle becuase spending that extra $5 won't hurt. Hopefully DTG can patch up the bugs on this DLC as this would need more work.. what i dislike about this is it wont load most of the time. the progress barr geets hung up. a updqte or fix is needed and has been needed for some time. i love the game but hate the time spent trying to get it to load. When I heard the announcement of this route I was so excited! But now that I have it, I'm pretty\u2665\u2665\u2665\u2665\u2665\u2665\u2665\u2665off...There are a LOT of bugs with this route, some are:1) When I am using the Comet V cab car with the ALP-45DP and I turn on the bell from the Comet V cab car, the bell turns on also in the ALP-45DP.2) When I am using the F40PH-2CAT loco, pressing "B" doesn't turn on the bell which it should.3) There's only ONE scenario for the Comet V cab car.4) There is a LOT of lag. I have a very high end gaming PC and I still get VERY bad performance, it is so annoying!Overall, I do NOT recommend this route. I paid $45 expecting something great, that obviously didn't happen.... I have a question to the developers ... Have you ever tested the scenarios? Scenario 1: I am appraching the platform, seing 60 speed limit. Then I start to brake, and suddenly I have speeding alert. It suddenly becomes 45 speed limit. So speed markers are totally wrong .. but my thoughts are .. Is it that difficult to have 1 staff member test it and correct the markers? how long will it take to fix and update? not long .. but looks like you do not care about that. Then you are talking about accuracy and presicion .. do you expect us to support you buying dlc when you NEVER fix bugs? so you are that poor that you cant hire a tester who actually plays the scenario and see bugs? I have read a lot of reviews and I couldnt believe that .. untill .. I saw that by my OWN eyes .. so you NEVER fix scenario bugs .. then i feel like stopping support this game .. the game is not perfect and i understand that .. but i can forget all engine faults and some graphical and fps issues .. BUT i can never forgive you for not testing the scenario and not fixing those speed limits .. so no more buys from me .... I love this route with the info of it back in the day in the 1st scenario, its laggy. but it is still enjoyable, there is alot of detail in this route especially in Hobken you can see the New York side with The World Trade Center. The NJT ALP-45DP and Comet Vs are highly detailed and now this route came with Multilevels! Absolutly stunning to look at and drive!10\/10. Love the route. It looks great, with plenty to do. Different levels of difficulty available, but with a decent rig I can't pull decent fps.I have an i7 6700K, 32 GB RAM, 850EVO, and 950 EVO SSDs (games on the 850), 980 GTX GPU w\/ 8GB VRAM. No trouble with other routes.I don't have a NASA computer, but I should be pulling more than 10 FPS on this route. That said, it varied from 10+FPS to a normal 75+ FPS.I can't recommend it as I shouldn't have these performance issues considering my specs as compared to the requirements - with the fact that it's a 32 bit program considered.. I've been waiting for this DLC for a while since these are my home rails. Maybe I got my hopes up too high. There are several issues with this DLC. Quick Drive does not work, it crashes the game. When using the Comet V cab car with the ALP-45DP, turning the bell on in the cab car turns on the bell on the locomotive. I purchased the combo pack which also includes the F40PH-2CAT. For some reason in the locomotive the hotkey B will not turn on the Bell. I feel that the quality of this DLC is far below previous packs and quality has gone down overall. The whole thing feels rushed. If these issues can be addressed in a fix\/patch than perhaps I can change my review to a recommend, as the look and feel of the route is really accurate and well done.. Got the 2 pack because of the F40PH CAT for a Caltrain repaint and I wanted to check out the route as well but I agree with everyone ells there are a lot of bugs with the 2 pack when pressing the "B" button for the bell in the F40PH it dose not ring you half to press it manualy inside the cab and yes LOTS OF LAG AS\u2665\u2665\u2665\u2665\u2665\u2665esspecially when the cab light auto turns on in the APL-D45P and also the dash board light lags the crap out of my game and I too have a high end PC really hope there will be a bug fix. Also do wait for a sale if you want the route till bugs are fixed.. I think this DLC has a lot of potential. My experience so far is that more often than not, scenarios will not load. It will crash \/ lock up while trying to load. I've had to do repeated computer reboots to get scenarios to load. Hope a fix is in the works for this issue. When I do get a scenario to load, the route is quite enjoyable to drive. I think overall Dovetail Games has done a good job creating this route. Again, lock ups during loading is frustrating. Hope to see a fix soon.
